You like to think that you can walk into a church nowadays and have a walk around. However, most churches today are deterred from doing this as some have been subject to theft of valuable equipment whilst being open to the public.

So how do you protect your PA system and keep your church open? This is where some clever bits of equipment come in! For example, above we can see a microphone mount that is fixed into the pulpit. This allows the church to simply remove the gooseneck microphone after the service. When it is time to use the system again, you simply put it back into place.

What about places where a mount can't be fitted? That's where table top microphone stand comes in. The stand simply sits on top of the table and plugs in the back. Once finished with, the cable it simply unplugged and the stand taken to a safe place.
We visited a church back in 2015 which unfortunately was subject to a theft in the day time when the church was open. Thieves had removed the microphones fixed in the church and had damaged part of the cabling. The solution to this was a wireless system comprising of two handheld microphones with stands. This simply allowed the minister to store the microphone equipment in a safe place at the end of the service and keep his church open.
