WTS support Sion School with production of Grease

The beginning of April saw Sion Senior school in Worthing put on their production of Grease the Musical. WTS were asked to assist with the lighting for the production and we couldn't have been happier to help!

Using the existing lighting system, we brought in a computer to control the lighting using Freestyler enabling us to create multiple light scenes and cue them in order for the performance.

Above you can see the software in action. All lighting was mapped out on the screen giving us the ability to pick a single light and control it if needed. During rehearsals, we put together some scenes and saved them into a cue list in order to simply press a button to set the next lighting scene.

To give the performance that extra excitement, we brought in some additional lighting which included 4 x LED Moving Head lights, 8 x RGB PAR cans and two stage blinders. These put together with the current lighting system gave an extra bit of excitement for the performance. The show was enjoyed by a large number of parents and relatives and the cast pulled off an amazing show. We look forward to helping the school with further productions in the future!
