The 13th of July brought us a lovely sunny day and all of Ferring came out to join in with the Ferring Festival. Live music was held on the village green and a whole host of activities on the Glebelands Recreation ground too. We set up and ran the PA for the day on the village green for a number of different acts. We used our HK Audio system for the front of house and our Soundcraft Ui16 wireless mixer which meant we could control all the sound from a computer in our gazebo without needing to run any cables from the main stage. Power in our gazebo was provided by our Ecoflow.
To the left of the stage above the speaker, you can see our WiFi hotspot which gave us the control of the PA system not only on the computer in our gazebo, but also on an iPad which could be used anywhere on the field. Just below the WiFi Antenna is our 5G antenna which gave us internet access during the day to keep an eye on any potential weather coming in.
We were also asked to provide a simple system for the Glebelands Recreation ground this year as they struggled with a system they had in the previous year. We provided a couple of our Citronic CASA 12" Loudspeakers and 2 radio microphones which covered the outdoor arena area they had set up perfectly.
Overall the event was very well attended at both ends and the feedback was good! We were pleased to be playing our part again at helping to make the day happen.
